While I love the scent of roses for skincare, perfume, candles (just about anything,) my favorite flower is actually the peony. My friend Lauren is an amazing artist, and she painted me this beautiful piece:
I’m so glad the wait is over and that they’re back in season. I was lucky enough to find some beautiful light pink and white ones at the local Farmer’s Market from Grow RVA.

And I was happily surprised to see that Target had a new version of the Meyer’s hand soap in a peony scent. Lovely!
