1. bareMinerals flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara: I first tried this when I worked at bareMinerals in college and I’ve loved it ever since. This one is gentle and doesn’t irritate if I’m going to be wearing my makeup for a super long day. It also doesn’t run at all. This is a dry formula, and I think it makes lashes look full and almost fluffy. I like to use it on my bottom lashes because I know it won’t run at all.
2. Dior Diorshow Mascara: This one smells like roses. Is there anything else you need to know? But seriously, this is a luxurious mascara. I think this one is marketed as a volumizing mascara, the formula is similar to the wet lengthening mascaras I’ve tried.
3. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: This one gives you HUGE lashes. I picked it up during the 20% sale Sephora has back in March/April, and I’m already on my second tube. This is similar to the bareMinerals one, but the formula is a little more wet and it makes your lashes even bigger. This one is more prone to smearing than the bareMinerals one, so I don’t like to use it on my bottom lashes.
4. Younique 3D Fiber Lashes**: This one isn’t technically a mascara; it’s gel and fibers. This makes your lashes HUGE. I’ve tried it several ways since the lovely Amy gifted it to me to try: by itself, over primer, over primer and mascara. It looks almost just like false lashes. I like it best on just the tips overtop my regular primer and mascara. I like the big lashes look, so I’ve been wearing it every day since I got it. 5. Dior Diorshow Maximixer Lash Primer: Again, not technically a mascara, but this is one of my FAVORITE products. I’ve repurchased it several times and add it underneath my mascara every time.

Hi! I am looking for a mascara that is quick being I have less time for me while trying to get two little ones out of the door every morning! And one that doesn’t feel heavy, but will make my eyelashes pop! I hope I win! Ps. Love your blog!
I love Mary Kays Ultimate Mascara in black. I have fairly long eyelashes, and usually go for a more natural look so having a superlengthening formula isn’t as important for me. This one coats well, doesn’t clump or smudge and is water-resistant. That means I can cry during Steel Magnolias and it stays in place, but I don’t need turpentine or heavy scrubbing to get it off my lashes when I want to. It peels off with warm water!
I’m looking for long wear, but easy removal. My go to has always been Maybeline Great Lash.
I want a mascara that won’t smudge during the day (I hate having racoon eyes in the afternoon!!) and I like something with lots of length 🙂
I use the covergirl purple tube mascara but i would love to try this stuff!

My go-to is Maybelline Great Lash – it gives me enough volume for a day at the office but I can layer it for a night out (it doesn’t give as much “umph” as the mascara in your pictures tho!) I do like that it’s east to take off.

I love Benefit mascara ‘They’re Real.’ I already have long lashes, but it makes them even longer and they really look like falsies. xo

Okay, I have tried all but the Younique and I have to say that the bareMinerals Flawless Definition is by far my favorite. It gives bold color as well as a totally coated, no run finish. I do really like Too Faced, but it runs all over the place. Good thing bareMinerals has the Locked & Coated mascara top coat!
