You’re invited to a J. Crew Shopping Party to benefit Massey Cancer Center. J.Crew reached out to Massey Cancer Center about hosting this event to benefit cancer research in our community. My friend Ocelia of Hudson & Grey Blog (also the photographer for this post. Thanks, Ocelia!) works at Massey asked and me to help out my hosting this shopping party to benefit the organization.
Massey Cancer Center’s mission is to serve as a comprehensive center of excellence in cancer research, prevention and control, patient care and education. Our guiding principles are to make important discoveries about cancer and to translate these discoveries rapidly into better prevention, detection, treatment and control of cancer to enhance the quality of life of all individuals affected by cancer.
Here’s what to expect:
Stylist Joanna Avant, Blogger Jordan Taylor and I will all be there to shop with you.
You’ll get 20% off your purchase (of $150 or more)
Sweet treats and bubbly
A percentage of sales will go to Massey Cancer Center
Ocelia and I got to stop by J Crew and check out some of the new things in stock for summer. Here’s a sneak peek:
This is the Tippi Sweater in Heather Saddle, the Billie Demi-Crop Jean and the Laila Wedges in Leopard Print.
I love these camis and the polka dots!
The in-store stylists were so creative and fun to work with.
I looovvee tassel earrings. These ones come in gold, white and periwinkle too.
I got to try out the super soft and stretchy linen cable sweater.
I also checked out some of the new arrivals on the website. I didn’t get to see this ruffle-sleeve top in person yet, but it’s what I’m planning on wearing to the event.
Y’all know I’m a business lady, so of course I had to appreciate this one.
And the bottom of this skirt is so cool!
My all-time J. Crew favorite, though, is the Pixie Pant. I’ve talked about them before here. They’re super easy and chic. I wear them with boots, flats or heels and with sweaters, silky tops or blazers.
I hope to see you all this Thursday at J Crew in Short Pump, but if you can’t make it or you live out of town, you can call the store at 804-364-9564 (Jennifer Robbins is the manager) and they’ll give you the same deal and ship to wherever you are :).

I hope to attend – I love the pieces you selected! It’s such a great cause so I may have to do some browsing myself…
