Check out my recap of the Virginia Bloggers Richmond Barre event here.
I started my delicate jewelry collection with this sweet friendship necklace by Dogeared (gifted to me by my friend, Kerry). I’ve since up a few more pieces like this Nadri bracelet from Nordstrom and this tiny pearl ring from Etsy. I also love Nadri’s pavé bracelets (I recommend waiting for the anniversary sale in August because they ‘re usually discounted.)
I came across this bar necklace on Pinterest today. I think it may be my next purchase ;).
I got these adorable rings from my friend Danielle as a congratulatory gift for a promotion at work. She got them from C Wonder.
Theres an adorable boutique in town called Quirk. I’ve been to a few events there and stopped in to shop a few times.

I just saw a post on Facebook linking to their online shop. I didn’t even know they had one! How cute is this address book?
I’ve had this dress from Forever21 for a few years, and it inspired me to make a piece of art. Obviously the dress itself was inspired by the grid-based paintings of Piet Mondrian, so I was technically taking inspiration from that. I used painter’s tape and acryllic paint to mimick the design of the dress. Now, it’s hanging proudly in the hall across from my front door.
It’s SO Soft! I’m so glad I stopped myself from buying the $80 Trish McEvoy brush that the salesperson at Nordstrom recommended and picked up this one from Target.
Got ’em at Nordstrom.
The first time I spotted a ghost chair on Pinterest, I knew i had to have one. A local modern furniture, LaDiff, sells them but they’re over $400 each. I picked mine up last year for a little over $100, and I just spotted several for $129 at my local Homegoods. These are such pretty chairs. you’ll notice that there are two kinds, the Louis and the Victoria. (The Louis has arms but the Victoria doesn’t.) They’re both great.
I have mine in front of a tall standing mirror in my living room, but I think a set of them as dining chairs with a rustic table would be stunning. Are you a fan of the ghost chair?
Here’s mine when my place was decorated for the holidays.
