Faison Center’s Endless Summer Party

The fundraiser will be on the evening of Friday, September 7, 2018.

For those of you who don’t know about Faison Center, the nonprofit gives children and adults with autism and related challenges the best opportunity to live rich and fulfilling lives. From early intervention to adult care, Faison is committed to improving the lives of individuals with autism.

Autism affects more children than childhood cancers, cystic fibrosis and multiple sclerosis combined. One in 68 children in the U.S. has been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, and approximately one in six children has some type of developmental disability, according to the Center for Disease Control.

The Faison Center provides services not just for Richmond residents, but for children and adults across Virginia. Faison’s reach also is national: the nonprofit is affiliated with two major university research partners — the Applied Behavior Analysis Program at Columbia University’s Teachers College and the Department of Behavioral Psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
