PRSA Mid-Atlantic Quick Start

The Mid-Atlantic District is devoted to helping recruit, train and groom PRSA leaders for service in their local chapters and for potential upward progression through the national organization. Join us for the next Quick Start program, which will help you plan for your chapter’s coming year and provide meaningful networking opportunities with other PRSA leaders. Invest in yourself and your chapter by attending Quick Start! The Quick Start program is organized by PRSA’s Mid-Atlantic District and open to chapter leaders and volunteers from the nine chapters in the district. Quick Start will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Sheraton Baltimore North, located at 903 Dulaney Valley Rd., Towson, MD 21204. The location provides easy access from I-95, I-495 (Baltimore Beltway) and I-83. The Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel is offering Quick Start attendees a discounted rate of $133 per night. Each chapter receives one complimentary registration and should contact Mike Gross, APR, at Mike@AKCGfirm.com to use that complimentary registration. Quick Start registration can be paid by check or credit card. If you or your chapter prefers to pay your Quick Start registration via check, please bring a check to the Quick Start event and pay at the door. The check should be made payable to “PRSA Mid-Atlantic District.” The low entry fee for chapter leadership training is made possible through district dues and support from PRSA National. SpeakerKen Jacobs, a long-time ICON and PRSA Counselors Academy speaker on leadership and an executive coach, will be the event speaker. His column on leadership appears regularly in PRSA’s Strategy & Tactics. He has also written on leadership development, executive coaching and agency management for PR News and PRSA’s The Public Relations Strategist. He has presented on “How To Lead Your Next Gen of Leaders” and “Nine Leadership Skills You Must Start Doing Now To Be A More Effective Leader.” Ken has coached and helped leaders, from C-suite executives to managers, achieve and surpass their goals.
