Kick off the summer with a night of great music under the stars at Maymont. Enjoy live music, food truck cuisine, and beer and wine, all benefiting Maymont.

Be Our Guest at BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Disney’s first North American production of the beloved musical in over 25 years. This enchanting and timeless tale, filled with the romance and grandeur audiences know and love, has been brought to life like never before, with spectacular new sets and dazzling costumes. The show boasts the Oscar®-winning and Tony Award®-nominated score, including the classic songs “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

Reuniting to create this new production are members of the original Tony Award®-winning artistic team, including composer Alan Menken, lyricist Tim Rice, book writer Linda Woolverton, with direction and choreography by Matt West, scenic design by Stanley A. Meyer, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting design by Natasha Katz. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is the beloved musical that will fill your heart with joy and Disney magic.

Fine Arts & Flowers 2026 is a spectacular museum-wide exhibition of stunning floral designs inspired by works of art in VMFA’s permanent collection. These extraordinary floral arrangements are created by designers from the Garden Club of Virginia, the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, and Ikebana of Richmond.
The exhibition is free.
The festivities begin the evening before the exhibition opens, with a glittering Opening Preview Gala on October 7. Gala tickets go on sale May 1.
Special events throughout the exhibition include talks by renowned speakers, luncheons, guided tours, floral workshops, a fashion show featuring designs by VCUarts fashion students, children’s activities, and more. Special event tickets go on sale May 1.
Proceeds from Fine Arts & Flowers sponsorships and special event ticket sales will support the largest expansion and renovation project in the 90-year history of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
Held biennially since 1987, Fine Arts & Flowers is presented by The Council of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Designer Christian Siriano and artist Ashley Longshore believe fashion and art should welcome everyone. Their work encourages people to show up without apology.

Siriano designs clothing for people of all sizes and gender expressions, proving that confidence belongs to everyone. Longshore paves a colorful path for pop art and fashion to coexist. Through her art, she challenges conventions and champions individuality.

Together they show how fashion and art can change how we see ourselves and the world.
